This episode of the Vegetarian Zen podcast is all about avocados! If you’ve been listening for a while, you know that Larissa doesn’t care for avocados but, she knows most of our VZ community is crazy about them as am I.

In today’s episode we’re going to give you a few avocado fun facts, some nutritional facts, talk about how to select a good one, and even share a few recipes from our Peas and Carrots Society who of course had a LOT to share about their love for avocados!

  1. Thanks for the shoutout!
    I’ve made the baked avocado tacos since I posted and they are bomb!
    But I usually eat my avocado straight up or on toast.
    My daughter and I lived off of mashed avo on tostadas with a little lime juice when we spent the summer as missionaries in Mexico and the orphanage food wasn’t real veg friendly.

      As you know from listening to the podcast, avocados and I have a rocky relationship…or maybe I should say that it’s the pits! (hahahaha)
