While our core mission here at VZ is to promote the positive aspects of living a healthier plant-based lifestyle, we also want to ensure we are passing along to you any opportunities you have, as a citizen of your country, to have your voice heard on behalf of animals.

In this episode of the Vegetarian Zen podcast, we discuss some important legislation regarding animal cruelty that is poised to hopefully become law soon in the United States. If this legislation does pass, it would be our first federal anti-animal cruelty law EVER.

Word of caution: we know we have some younger listeners so we do not go into any specific details of the acts of cruelty described in the legislation; however, the nature of this episode may be a bit disturbing to some. For this reason, we focus on explaining the nature of the bill and how you can support it.
