Becoming a vegetarian or vegan is a big decision, one which family and friends may or may not agree with. In the end, of course, it is completely personal but as with any major life change, having the support of those around you can make the transition easier.
Certain stereotypes about vegetarians and vegans exist that can make “coming out of the pantry” a little intimidating for some. Also, food is a subject about which people tend to have strong opinions. In this episode, we discuss some questions that new vegetarians commonly are asked, as well as ways they can explain their choice if they choose to do so.
