One of the main reasons people give for not eating healthy is the perceived extra expense. I say “perceived” because the idea that healthy food is more expense isn’t necessarily true. Sure, some organic, natural foods may cost a bit more than their conventional or processed counterparts. There are things you can do, however, to help stretch your healthy food budget.
In this episode of the Vegetarian Zen Podcast you’ll learn that maintaining a healthy plant-based lifestyle doesn’t have to break the bank. We’ll discuss ways to save money at farmer’s markets and the grocery store. You’ll also learn about things you can do at home, such as freezing fruits and vegetables when they’re in season and growing your own produce.
